How to install wordpress in LocalHost

1. Install xampp
2.  Run xampp as administrator
3.  Run by clicking start button Apache and MySQL (first two modules)
4.  Open your browser and type  "localhost" in the address bar it will open automatically " localhost/dashboard/"
       a- Select the item "phpMyAdmin" from top menu bar
       b- Select the item "Database" from top menu bar
       c- Here you see the create button before clicking the the button give a name to database you are creating for you website (no need to change the drop down) keep it same as it was (by default it is " collation ")
5. Now database is created, copy the "wordpress-4.8.zip" folder and paste in htdocs with       director"C:\xampp\htdocs " extract here the "wordpress-4.8.zip" and
6. Open the wordpress-4.8 extracted folder their will be a WordPress named folder cut it and paste in htdocs and delete the folder from which it is extracted
7. Rename your wordpress foder by the name of your site (like WordPress->portfolio)
8. In browser open new tab and search " localhost/name of site "e.g localhost/portfolio
      a- Select language and click on button "continue"
      b- Then their will be description not necessary to read click on "Lets go" button
      c- Fill the text boxes
         i- Give name of your database is you have created in step 4-c
         ii- Give username (as creates at the time of installation of xampp)
         iii- Give password (as creates at the time of installation of xampp)
      d- No need to change the remaining text boxes
      e- click "submit" button it will open new screen
      f- Not necessary to read description click on "Run the install" button
         i- Now give a name to your website irrespective of the name as you have given in step 6
         ii- You can change the username here admin to some other which you can remember
         iii- change your password easy to remember (it show message that weak password then choose mark the "confirm password"
         iv- Give your email
         v- Don't mark the search engine visibility
         vi- click on "install WordPress" button
         vii- Now you see new screen with "login" button click on the button
9. For customizing your website type in new tab" http://localhost/portfolio/wp-admin/"

Note: May be your WordPress version not "wordpress-4.8.zip" but the procedure is same for any version of WordPress
